Hornet

I have already stood sentinel to one dying land. That role... I will never play again.
Other Physical Traits.
Hornet is a bug. Her build is very spindly and she has shell/carapace instead of skin. Her shell is mostly black, but her head (which she'll also call her mask) is white. Since she's part spider her body is slightly fuzzy.

Backtagging Note.
I don't mind if tags go unanswered for a long time! I get that life gets in the way sometimes so I'll welcome any backtags even if it's been months. The same goes for responses to top levels I've posted in the past.
Personality.
Formal, direct, focused, determined, and uncompromising in her values. She's polite and well-mannered unless she's irritated. Though she's aloof and travels alone whenever possible, it is not hard to discover that she has a soft spot and is willing to help others around her for little to no reward. Though, she of course insists that she's really just helping for the sake of honing and testing her skills.
Meme Info.
First, I'm very much open to crosscanon CR! I like to bounce Hornet off all sorts of characters so please don't hesitate to hit me up.
If you're interested in entire crossover settings, I'm also game! Hollow Knight is surprisingly easy to blend with any canon that has sci-fi or fantasy elements, so if you've got an idea in mind feel free to go for it. I'm also happy to hash out a specific blended setting over DM before we get started.
Assumed CR.
If needed, feel free to use assumed CR for your thread starters. Here's some information I think will be helpful for that!
- Hornet is most likely be known to other characters as a sentinel or hunter. She does a lot of roaming, albeit contained within a specific region.
- If Hornet is in her home territory (Hallownest in canon) she is mercilessly, violently protective of it. If she perceives someone as weak she'll typically leave them alone to be picked off by the locals. Anyone she considers strong she'll confront directly.
- If not in her home territory, Hornet is more reactive in her protective tendencies. She'll still defend the people and places she cares about but she won't be taking it upon herself to drive out anyone she considers a threat (unless given a good reason to).
- Characters that are perceptive, well-connected, or have known Hornet for a long time may know that she's royalty, a demi-god, or both. However, she doesn't express any interest in ruling.
- Hornet isn't afraid of a fight, but despite her protective tendencies she's not automatically inclined towards aggression. She tends to only fight when she needs to, or is challenged directly.
- And for some less dramatic elements to work with: Hornet is a musician; she has a skill in crafting both textiles and mechanical tools; she can be extremely blunt; and she has a tremendous weakness for things that are soft and cute, going to far as to describe a fluffy creature that once tried to kill her as 'marvelous'.
